A British company producing 'Bird Recorder for Windows', which is quite widely used within the Society. It has a comprehensive world species list but, naturally, is geared towards the European Market. Facilities for recording trips, sightings, sites, habitats etc. Used successfully on Windows 3.1 and Windows95. Latest version is Bird Recorder 32, which is for Windows 95/98 (and later versions) only. |

Geared mainly towards the North American market, this is an easy to use program which will allow records and life lists to be generated. The species database consists mainly of North American birds, though other species can be added. The link allows for the download of an evaluation version limited to a maximum of 50 entries.
